The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16).
Prayer is a method of remaining in fellowship with God. Prayer is communicating with God. When you pray, you have another opportunity to speak life into your situation and to release the angels of God to work on your behalf.
Because prayer is so vital in each person’s life, Jesus thought it was important enough to provide the perfect model of how to pray (see Matthew 6:9-13). Then in Matthew 18:19, He says, “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
