It is 3: 45 in the a.m. as I reading this blog of inspiration finding myself struggling with my carnal mind. I find it difficult to fall asleep because my mind is racing. Now that I have read this blog of encouragement, It relaxes me and slow down the confusion… Mason you are right, to maintain discipline is necessary to grow in Christ… Thank you.

Discipline is huge when it comes to your faith. Many people argue back and forth about the gift of salvation and sin following acceptance of the gift. Discipline is the difference between what people see in our walk and the difference in the comfort of our walk.
Let me explain. Paul tells us that salvation is the gift, and not of works. However, when a believer shuns the responsibility of presenting their body to God as a living sacrifice others will see God as a lier. We know that God cannot lie because He is Love. Also we are told to take up the cross daily. That is our discipline to chose to Love Him daily and walk with Him as the leader in our daily destination. Without Him leading we run into wrong decisions that lead to unnecessary frustrations, confusion and sometimes even pain.
Discipline in a believers life is to keep the Kingdom First (Matthew 6:33). He will do the rest.

i agree 100% GOD LEADS US BY EXAMPLE.a disciple has to set his affection on what is being taught and the example of the teacher JESUS is our teacher He discipled Hisself to a cross we must also discipled ourselves to obeying the word of GOD(1 PETER1:9-15 it takes great hardness to make great disciples so go hard after JESUS AMEN….!!!!!

Thank you Pastor..Just wanted to say that I am a bit late but the Lord just lead me to your ministry today..I am truly enjoying your teachings,and let me add that if we do not read the word daily we will be spiritually malnourished..I have found this out by tribulation and not revelation..GOD Bless!

I thank you so much for this word. Just this morning I was talking to my husband about some of my church members because I have a really low tolerance for a lack of submission. I prayed to God and told him that I don't respect them much because they are willfully disobedient. When the Pastor says, go to Sunday school, people are still hanging out trying to get breakfast and are the main ones walking around trying to speak into my life. So your word this morning is so timely. I haven't loved them as I should and I have already asked God for forgiveness and will begin more than ever to pray God's will for their lives and just love them with his love by his grace. Thanks so much for this word.
